Welcome to our Senior level. Students at this level have an advanced understanding of technique and performance qualities.

Ballet exams are not compulsory, but are recommended to provide students with a goal to work towards each year and a sense of accomplishment. Students at this level are required to attend 2 grade syllabus, 1 pointe and 1 open ballet class per week.
Senior Ballet Technique classes are for students who wish to enjoy the benefits of studying ballet, but without the pressure of exams or performances. This class is perfect for students commencing ballet at an older age or those who wish to use the ballet training to strengthen their technique in other dance styles such as jazz and contemporary.
Contemporary is a more abstract form of modern dance and is also influenced by both Classical Ballet and Jazz. Contemporary dance principles include exploring shapes and centering, breath, contraction and release, fall and recovery, balance and off-balance.
Many of its concepts come from the ideas and innovations of 20th century modern dance, including floor-work and turn-in of the legs.
Jazz is a fun dance style centered around top 40 music with a strong beat and lots of personality. A great jazz dancer owns their dancing with power, technique, confidence and style. Someone who is unpredictable with amazing technique and a whole bunch of fire! Students learn jazz choreography each lesson.
Jazz technique includes strength, flexibility and conditioning technique and progressions such as turns, kicks and leaps. The dancers also learn many fun and trendy dance steps that are used for all forms of dance. It is a wonderful class to focus on the technique required to be a strong jazz dancer.
Acro is a fun and skillful dance style that is centered around tumbles, flips and tricks. Acro is a combination of gymnastic and acrobatics focused on areas of flexibility, strength, balancing, limbering and tumbling. We follow the AcrobaticArts syllabus which a comprehensive syllabus curated by professionals in a range of dance styles, alongside physiotherapy, yoga, pilates and contortion experts.
Our teachers are qualified and attend regular training to keep up-to-date with the different skills and techniques taught in Acro. These classes will help your child progress through various levels of difficulty from a beginner to an advanced level. Acro is perfect for a child that loves to be challenged and learn new skills that are bound to impress!
